ccl Cricket and Cinema are the most popular modes of entertainment for any Indian. Every movie and cricket match elicits similar emotions of joy, of cheer, and of inspiration. Simply put they are religions. And stars and cricketers are demi-gods with fanatical worshippers. The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is the coming together of Cinema and Cricket. For the first time in India, the film fraternities of India encompassing South - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada - and Bollywood will come together to play in the Twenty-20 format of CCL to produce one sensational mixture of entertainment for the audience.
Beginning 4th June 2011 at Bengaluru, 4 teams, 6 league matches and 1 explosive final at Hyderabad on 12th June will make up the first edition of CCL. The Opening Ceremony will be held today. It will have live performances by Sonu Nigam, Sivamani, 800 Drummers, Acrobat Dancers and much more.
The live performances will be held in all the four cites, An event where almost all the stars of the Indian Cinemas will be seen on one platform i.e CCL.
