india vs england live score

india vs england live score After a rather good start by Indian batsmen in response to England’s mammoth score of 474 runs, India lost a big wicket in the form of Gautam Gambhir, one of the best batsmen that the Indian team has. Though at a time when Indian team had crossed 62 runs, Gambhir’s contribution was a mere 15 runs.

But his contribution in the team effort was great. He was allowing Mukund to take lead and score runs. And Mukund was taking the lead in taking runs and hitting the balls for fours and more fours. Mukund is playing at 41 runs after facing 70 balls.

Rahul Dravid has come on the place of Gautam Gambhir. But he takes a very long time in settling down and warming up at the crease and mostly he loses a lot of time in just that.

Stuart Broad who had improved his bowling a lot this morning was pitching the ball and the one that hit the stump was a beauty to watch. Compared to Indian bowlers who were not been able to place the balls at the right place, Broad’s bowling is revelation in itself.

These bowlers plan to take the wickets and eventually do it. It is contrary with Indian bowlers who want to take wicket from the word go. Though Praween Kumar scalped five wickets, nonetheless he never looked impressive with his style and action. Meanwhile his balls were going haywire and Indian captain Dhoni had to struggle a lot to simply catch his deliveries.

Earlier English batsmen performed brilliantly despite some good bowling performance by Praween Kumar who scalped five wickets and kept the pressure on English batsmen except on Pietersen. Petersen on the other hand played an inning of his life scoring a well deserved double century.

He dominated Indian batsmen and didn’t allow Indian bowlers to keep him under check. He took 326 balls to score his double century and his highest individual test score. Trott too performed well and scored 70 runs while Prior scored 71 runs.
