scorecardBusinesses using Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) as part of their cloud services could be interested in the latest news concerning the feature.Network company Cisco has taken the top spot as part of a new rating system adopted by telecommunications and marketing analyst Infonetics Research.According to the results, acquired as part of the Worldwide Web Security SaaS Scorecard, the firm's range of unique features and strong product offering contributed to its win.

Fellow SaaS providers McAfee and Symantec came in joint second place, with each organisation achieving different scores across a number of areas.

"The difference between first and fifth place in our vendor matrix comes down to small variations in brand presence, security profile, strategy, capabilities and financial stability," explained Jeff Wilson, principal analyst for security at Infonetics Research.

News of Cisco's achievement comes after the firm joined forces with the province of Nova Scotia to provide sustainability, social and economic solutions across the region.
