Vince young

Clark Judge of CBS is reporting that Vince Young is headed to the Philadelphia Eagales to back-up Michael Vick. A lot of people had been throwing that out there today, but I didn't think it was really a fit. They are actually quite different quarterbacks. If this is true, it pretty much guarantees that Vince will see action in 2011 because Vick has proven that he cannot stay healthy. The interesting part to this will be to see how Young handles the fans and media up there. If he thought Nashville was tough he is in for a rude awakening. One person who knows Young said he's equally intrigued with the idea of learning from Vick, Eagles coach Andy Reid and offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, who have done a first-rate job of training quarterbacks. Andy Reid's and Marty Mornhinweg's street cred for being able to groom quarterbacks is seriously off the charts at this point. Vince Young is a player with incredible raw talent, and it would certainly be very interesting to see Reid and Mornhinweg take on another reclamation project in Vince Young. Earlier I posted that I had "a very strong feeling..."
