Atlanta braves

The Atlanta Braves are currently six games out of first place in the National League East, and they hold a three and a half game lead in the National League Wild Card Standings. They continue to struggle at the plate, and the likelihood of Atlanta making a trade has now increased. That means they're going to have to give up a strong pitching prospect. So which one will the Braves part ways with?Atlanta is having a hard time winning games right now because they can't get out in front early. That all falls on the hitters failing to do their part, which is why the Braves will actively pursue a big time hitter before the MLB trade deadline passes. The prospects that teams like the New York Mets, Houston Astros or Tampa Bay Rays want are going to be future great pitchers in the MLB.Several teams covet prospects Julio Teheran, Mike Minor, Arodys Vizcaino and Randall Delgado.

Atlanta will have to give up one of these guys, or maybe even Brandon Beachy to land a big time hitter. Minor is Atlanta's top lefty pitching prospect, which is why the Braves continue to be hesitant on dealing him. You can't blame the Braves for wanting to hold onto the players that have spent a ton of time developing. Atlanta will always have a strong farm system, and younger pitching prospects could pan out pretty well. However, these guys are real deal, and the Braves are well aware of this. They have to be careful in who they trade with because dealing a top prospect to a division rival could haunt them for many years to come.
